About Animals
Originating from England's R&B scene, the 1960s bring us The Animals, a highly influential band on English music and overseas. The voice of vocalist Eric Burdon and the keyboard playing by Alan Price have defined the band's sound and much of the sixties rock music. Most notable was their second single released in 1964, The House Of The Rising Sun cover, which made it to the tops of both US and UK charts and led to their first LP.
